The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 40mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

Does the white dial photograph more clearly during QC?
Yes. Any dust, smudge, or subdial misalignment is immediately visible on white. Black dials hide minor blemishes. If clarity matters to you, white-dial QC photos are the most transparent.
Is the white dial prone to yellowing?
Minimal risk under normal office and business light. Extended sunlight might cause very gradual shift over 5+ years, but this is cosmetic aging, not a defect. Most owners report no visible yellowing after 2–3 years.
How legible are the subdials on a white background?
Very legible. Black indices on white create high contrast, making the chronograph subdials easy to read and track during timing. This is why professional chronographs often use white dials—readability in all lighting.
At 40mm, is the Daytona oversized for office wear?
No. Most office watches are 40mm now. The Daytona's busy dial might read as sporty, but the 40mm size is standard corporate sizing. If you prefer smaller, the original Daytona ran at 37–38mm; modern clones are typically 40mm.

What the Daytona is
The Daytona chronograph features three subdials for timing and a tachymeter bezel. Reference 116520-0016 is the stainless-steel version at 40mm with a white dial—clean, professional, and utterly legible. The white dial makes the subdials and chronograph hand stand out, prioritising readability over everything else.
How our clone follows it
We've built the 40mm case in 904L stainless steel with a Swiss-grade automatic movement. The white dial is pristine; during QC we photograph it under different light to confirm evenness and absence of smudges or printing imperfections. The three subdials sit perfectly centred. The Oyster bracelet is solid three-link steel, proportioned to the case weight and size. Sapphire crystal, anti-reflective coating, 50 metres water resistance.
On the wrist
At 40mm and white dial, the Daytona reads as a pure tool—unfussy and professional. The chronograph complication is visible but not overshadowed by dial colour choices. You might compare the Rolex 116515LN rose gold if you want warmth, or the Rolex 116519 black if you want classical numerals.
