The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

What does Tour Ultimate mean, and is it a specific Audemars Piguet reference?
The Tour Ultimate name references Audemars Piguet's Offshore collection and a design philosophy emphasising endurance and function. We do not claim a single official reference number; the name identifies the dial style and 42mm Offshore case combination.
Is 42mm larger than a standard 41mm Royal Oak?
Yes, 42mm is slightly larger in diameter and noticeably more substantial when worn. The difference is subtle but adds presence without the extreme bulk of the 44mm Schumacher. Most wrists adapt easily to the upgrade from 41mm.
Does this have a tourbillon like some other Offshore models?
No. This Tour Ultimate uses a standard Swiss-grade automatic movement without a tourbillon complication. It is a simpler, more reliable mechanism suited to everyday wear and less prone to shock damage than a tourbillon.
How sporty can I wear this watch?
Water resistance is about 50 metres, suitable for hand-washing and rain only. It is not a diving or swimming watch. It works well for casual and business wear but is too delicate for water sports or activities with impact risk.

How our clone follows it
We build this with a 42mm stainless steel case, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and our Swiss-grade automatic movement with approximately 48 hours of power reserve. Water resistance is around 50 metres for daily wear only. In QC we focus on the bezel octagon geometry and facet symmetry, the dial index placement and evenness, and the case finishing where brushed and polished surfaces meet. The tourbillon-free movement simplifies the mechanism, delivering reliable everyday timekeeping. Each unit is photographed for your approval before packing.
On the wrist
At 42mm, this sits between the classic 41mm Royal Oak and the larger 44mm Offshore, offering a middle ground for those who want Offshore presence without maximum size. The steel feels substantial and wears well on larger wrists. For something smaller, the AP Royal Oak Michael Schumacher is 44mm but with a different dial character. The AP Royal Oak Novelty provides an alternative Offshore design.
