Is the ceramic bezel durable?
Ceramic is extremely hard and scratch-resistant, more durable than anodised aluminium. It resists colour fading and maintains finish longer. It can crack if struck at an angle, but normal wear barely marks it.
Why is the integrated bracelet different from the Royal Oak Selfwinding?
The Offshore is a tool watch with an integrated, rigid bracelet that is part of the case structure. The Selfwinding uses a separate bracelet. The integrated design is stiffer, more supportive, and characteristic of the Offshore line.
What is the difference between 26470 and earlier Offshore references?
The 26470 is the modern reference, updated from the 26420 with refined case finishing and movement specifications. Both are 42mm and visually similar; the 26470 is newer and considered the current standard.
Does the navy dial show dust or scratches easily?
Dark dials hide dust better than light colours. Minor marks are less visible, though a navy dial is darker and more dramatic than black, potentially showing dust in certain angles of light.
