The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. What makes 57th Street different from other Offshore variants?
57th Street emphasises heritage and Paris headquarters naming. Dial finishes vary by reference, but 57th Street typically uses a cleaner, more formal aesthetic than Safari or Diver variants. It's recognisable by its specific dial treatment.
Does the integrated bracelet feel different than a removable bracelet in terms of comfort?
No. Comfort depends on fit and weight, not whether the bracelet is attached. Once sized correctly, an integrated bracelet is just as comfortable as a separate one. The advantage is durability—no bracelet-to-case rattle.
How is the dial pattern printed? Will it wear off with regular use?
The indices and hour markers are applied (glued) or printed into the dial surface—not painted on top. Normal wear doesn't affect them. Even after years, they remain intact.
What's the bezel finish—polished or satin?
Most AP Offshore bezels are polished or semi-polished stainless. They will show swirl marks and light scratches with wear, which is normal. Some owners embrace the patina; others polish them out periodically.
