The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

How sharp should the octagonal bezel edges be?
In QC photos we check that the edges are crisp and defined, not rounded or worn. The bezel sits flush with the case middle; no gaps between the edge and the brushed portion. Over years of wear, edges do soften slightly with regular use.
Does the black dial have depth or does it sit flat?
The dial has a satin finish with subtle sunburst texturing that gives it subtle dimension. Indoors it appears flat and dark; in bright light the pattern becomes visible. It is not mirror-like and will not show fingerprints easily.
Is 41mm too large for formal occasions?
The Offshore is a sports watch designed for active wear. At 41mm it is bold, so if your usual formal dress is tie and jacket, the scale might feel large. However, many wear it in casual-smart contexts without issue.
Does the bracelet hold time without adjustment?
The stainless steel Offshore bracelet is engineered to sit tight on a proportional wrist. If the first link is loose, we address it before shipping. Most buyers do not need adjustment in the first few months.

What the Royal Oak Offshore is
The Royal Oak Offshore is the sports evolution of Audemars Piguet's iconic integrated-bracelet design. At 41mm, it is more aggressive than the standard Royal Oak, with a larger case, thicker lugs, and a dial that fills the space. The octagonal bezel remains the signature.
How our clone follows it
We build this in stainless steel throughout, with the 41mm case and the characteristic octagonal bezel in brushed and polished finish. The black dial is where Offshore pieces often shine—it reads bold and legible without being plain. We check the bezel octagon edges for sharp definition in our QC photos, and the bracelet integration where the lugs meet the end links. The automatic movement has the smooth feel of a Swiss-grade clone with approximately 48 hours of wind.
On the wrist
Forty-one millimetres is substantial, sitting firmly between a dress watch and a diver. The sports styling suits a black dial; the octagonal bezel angles inward, making the dial feel even larger.
