Are the chronograph subdials functional or decorative?
Fully functional. The three subdials measure elapsed time (starting at 12, 3, and 6 o'clock typically). Press the chronograph buttons to operate them.
Can I time something to 1/10th second with this chronograph?
Yes. The movement divides seconds into tenths. For most practical uses (sporting events, exercise timing), this is more than adequate.
Will using the chronograph wear it out faster?
No. Modern chronographs are engineered for frequent use. The subdials operate independently of the main timekeeping. Regular use does not accelerate wear.
What's the movement spec on this chronograph?
Approximately 48 hours of power reserve. The chronograph mechanism draws from the same automatic winding. No separate battery exists.
