The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Why is this Offshore in steel, not gold?
The original reference 26170OR was made in rose or yellow gold. We offer a steel interpretation here for durability and daily wear. If you prefer a precious-metal version, contact us to check availability.
What is the bezel made of?
Ceramic. It is harder than the case steel, resists scratches, and matches the proportions of the original. The octagon must be sharp and even; our QC photographs verify this detail.
Is the bracelet removable?
The integrated bracelet is permanent to the case lugs. It cannot be swapped for a strap. If you prefer the Offshore on a rubber or leather strap, consult a watchmaker about alternative solutions after purchase.
How does 42mm compare to the standard Royal Oak?
The Royal Oak collection starts at 39mm; the Offshore is 42mm, giving it a distinctly sportier presence. It is 3mm larger, which reads noticeably on the wrist depending on proportions.
