The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

How does the 42 mm Offshore wear compared to the 41 mm standard Royal Oak?
The 42 mm is approximately 1 mm larger in diameter and 2–3 mm longer lug-to-lug. On the wrist the difference is noticeable; it sits more commanding. Both fit most wrists comfortably.
What makes the Offshore styling more aggressive than the standard?
The Offshore uses thicker hands, heavier applied indices, and often a darker dial. The case may have more pronounced bevels. The overall proportions feel sportier and less refined.
Is the octagonal bezel identical on both Offshore and standard Royal Oak?
The octagonal geometry and proportions are the same. The difference is in the case thickness and hand sizing around the bezel. The bezel itself meets identical specifications.
Does the Offshore come in other dial colours?
This reference is steel with the integrated steel dial. Other Offshore variants offer different dial finishes and colours; they are listed as separate products with different reference numbers.

What the Royal Oak Offshore is
The sports evolution of the Royal Oak. Where the standard Royal Oak is refined, the Offshore leans muscular. The 42 mm case, the octagonal bezel, and the integrated bracelet are all here, but the Offshore adds a more aggressive aesthetic. This is the Royal Oak for adventurers.
How our clone follows it
We've built this at 42 mm in steel with an automatic movement, sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel. The 50-metre water resistance is for daily wear. In QC we pay close attention to the bezel symmetry at this slightly larger case size, the case surface polish consistency, and the bracelet end-link fit. Any asymmetry in the octagonal geometry is rejected immediately.
On the wrist
The 42 mm Offshore sits larger than the standard 41 mm Royal Oak—a few millimetres make a difference in presence. The weight is solid but balanced. The bracelet tapers smoothly and moves with the wrist. This is a watch that announces itself without being ostentatious.
