Is blue a rare dial option for the Nautilus?
Blue is well-documented on Nautilus references but less common than silver or other finishes. It has been offered for decades and is a legitimate factory colour.
What makes the bracelet taper so important visually?
The taper is the signature design element of the Nautilus. Without proper taper, the bracelet looks flat and cheap. It is the first thing a knowledgeable eye checks when assessing authenticity.
Can I polish the steel case if it gets scratched in daily wear?
Yes. A watchmaker can polish scratches out, but repeated polishing gradually reduces case thickness. Light surface scratches are normal and don't require intervention.
Does the blue dial pair well with formal clothing?

How our clone follows it

In QC we focus exhaustively on the bracelet taper—the centre links must visibly and significantly outweigh the outer links in width, with raised sections that sit distinctly proud. The outer links must sit perfectly flush with the case side flanks. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating completes the assembly; water resistance sits at roughly fifty metres, suitable for hand-washing, rain, and incidental splashing.
