It has a subtle satin finish. Under certain light angles, you'll see a gentle sheen. This is correct. The dial is not glossy and not matte—it's a fine in-between.
Is the porthole bezel hard to keep clean?
The bezel edges collect dust more than a smooth surface, but cleaning is straightforward. Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove particles between the porthole ridges. Regular cleaning keeps it looking new.
