Why is it called Black Magic?
The blackening process creates a distinctive dark steel finish that differs visually from standard polished steel. The marketing name reflects the depth of the black finish and its light-catching qualities under different angles.
Will the black finish fade over time?
The black coating is durable, but like all finishes it may show marks with heavy use. Fingerprints are visible on black steel; regular gentle cleaning keeps it looking fresh.
Does this model come with a date window?
No. The 511.NX.1170.RX reference is a chronograph without date display. The dial focus is on the three subdials and the main timekeeping function.
What happens if the strap becomes damaged?
We supply replacement rubber straps by email request. You can also fit a standard rubber strap from any watch retailer, as the pins are universal. Replacement is straightforward.
