The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 44mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

Does the chronograph work smoothly if the watch has not been serviced in years?
A chronograph mechanism left idle may feel stiff or sluggish when first used. A quick wind and gentle activation usually free it. If it remains stuck, a watchmaker should service the mechanism.
Can the rotating bezel be removed to replace the insert without specialist tools?
The bezel is press-fit. You need a bezel tool to remove it safely. Attempting to prise it off by hand risks scratching the case or cracking the insert.
Will the chronograph subdials continue to advance if the main hand stops?
No. The subdials are driven by the chronograph mechanism, which is part of the main movement. If the movement stops, the subdials stop.
How often should a chronograph be serviced compared to a standard automatic?
A chronograph typically requires service every 4–5 years if used regularly. A standard automatic can go 5–7 years. Frequent chronograph use may shorten service intervals.

What the Big Bang is
The Big Bang is Hublot's sports chronograph: a 44mm stainless steel watch with a rotating bezel, multiple subdials for timing, and a bold, modern aesthetic. It is built for visibility and performance rather than formal wear.
The 301.CI.1770.RX is the core Big Bang reference in this size and material combination.
How our clone follows it
We manufacture this in stainless steel with a 44mm case, sapphire crystal, and a Swiss-grade automatic movement with roughly 48 hours of reserve. The chronograph subdials sit at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock for timing functions. Water resistance is 50 metres for daily use.
In QC photos, we check the rotating bezel: smooth, even rotation with audible click-stops and no grinding. The chronograph pusher buttons must sit flush and move crisply. The subdial numerals should be centred in their windows without drift.
On the wrist
At 44mm in stainless steel, this is a bold, confident sports watch that reads the same whether you wear it casually or formally. The weight and size project presence. For a smaller option, the 441.OX.1180.RX Unico is a variant; for a different aesthetic, the 521.NX.7170.LR Classic Fusion is more understated.
