The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

Will the hexagonal bezel stay locked when set?
The hexagonal bezel clicks as you rotate it, locking into position at each step. If it feels loose or drifts, the mechanism may have worn. We inspect this in QC photographs and show the bezel action in video before you approve dispatch.
How does the 44mm case weight affect wearability?
Stainless steel at 44mm carries noticeable weight on the wrist but is balanced if worn regularly. The chunky proportions mean the visual impact reads as intentional rather than heavy. Many buyers find it sits at the edge of comfort and statement.
What's the dial finish on this reference?
The dial finish depends on production batch, typically matte black or dark grey. We photograph the exact dial finish in daylight so you can see it before committing. Polished bezels sit against a matte dial, which is standard for the Big Bang.
Do the applied indices have luminous material?
The hour markers have applied lume, typically green or blue-white depending on batch. We cannot guarantee luminosity over years; the markers should glow when charged but fade naturally under UV exposure over time.

What the Big Bang is
The Big Bang is Hublot's statement chronograph, built on a hexagonal bezel and a chunky steel case that broadcasts its presence. At 44mm, it sits between the 42mm sports variant and the oversized 45mm monster, making it a middle ground for collectors who want the hexagonal signature without maximum wrist domination.
How our clone follows it
We build this with a 44mm case in stainless steel, sapphire crystal, and our Swiss-grade automatic movement. The hexagonal bezel facets must be sharp and evenly proportioned, and we measure them in QC photographs. The dial indices are applied, and we verify they sit flush and do not lift from the surface.
On the wrist
Forty-four millimetres is a substantial size that wears well on larger wrists but may overwhelm slighter frames. The steel keeps the watch from becoming unwieldy, and the geometric case design means the proportions read as intentional rather than merely oversized.
