The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. Does the gold plating wear off with normal use?
Gold plating on case and bracelet will thin from repeated friction over years. The steel underneath is 904L and will not rust, but the two-tone aesthetic fades. This is normal for all plated watches.
What does the LN suffix on 16613LN mean?
The 'LN' designates a dial variant or production generation within the 16613 line. Without the original spec sheet, we describe the dial and case; the reference communicates the exact model.
Is two-tone more fragile than pure steel?
The steel core is as robust as any Submariner. The gold plating is softer and shows wear sooner in high-friction zones. Both materials are durable for daily wear.
