The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

Why is the Explorer called 'Black Dial' in the name?
The reference is often identified by its dial colour. Black dial distinguishes it from Explorer variants with white, gilt, or other dial finishes.
Is 38mm large enough for modern watch wearing?
For wrists 6.5 inches and larger, 38mm is comfortable. For smaller wrists or those preferring larger watches, it may feel understated.
How minimal is the Explorer dial really?
The dial carries hour markers (typically a 3, 6, 9 pattern), a centre dot, and hands. No date window, no subdials, no complications—purely functional design.
Does the black dial scratch easily?
Dial scratches are rare from normal wear. The sapphire crystal—not the dial—sits closest to the outside world and protects the dial surface.

The Explorer is a clean, minimalist sports watch designed for exploration: simple dial, durable case, and reliable movement. This 38mm version in stainless steel with a black dial is the accessible entry to the family—everyday wear without complexity.
How our clone follows it
We build it in 904L stainless steel at 38mm with a Swiss-grade automatic movement providing approximately 48 hours of power reserve. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating; 50-metre water resistance for daily activities. The black dial is clean and readable. Our QC checks focus on dial surface flatness and index marker alignment; the three-digit hour markers should be evenly spaced and sit symmetrically on the dial.

At 38mm, the Explorer sits comfortably on most wrists. Stainless steel and a black dial make it versatile—equally at home in the outdoors or in a business context. The simplicity is its strength; the watch does not demand attention.
