The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

Is 41mm too large for formal dress occasions?
Forty-one millimetres is now the standard dress-watch size and is worn formally. In tie-and-jacket contexts it is not oversized. Older dress traditions favoured 36mm; the Datejust exists in both.
How does the grey dial react to different lighting?
The grey finish is subtle. In bright daylight it can appear almost silver; under incandescent light it warms. This colour-shifting quality is part of the appeal—the watch transforms throughout the day.
Will the Jubilee bracelet feel loose or rattle on my wrist?
The end links are fitted to the 41mm lugs with precision. In QC we check for gaps and tightness. Over time, after months of wear, the connection may develop slight play, but initial fit should be secure.
How does the 126300-0008 compare to the older 116234 generation?
The 126300 is the current-generation Datejust with a newer case design and dial finishing. The 116234 is from an earlier generation. Both are dress watches; the 126300 is more contemporary in appearance and case proportions.

The Datejust is the original dress watch that spawned a thousand imitators. Forty-one millimetres is the larger contemporary size, offering a more commanding presence than the 36mm while retaining the formal date-window identity.
