The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

How accurate is the octagonal bezel symmetry?
We measure all eight sides during QC to ensure they are within 0.5 mm of each other. Symmetry is critical to the Royal Oak's identity. Any unit that fails this check is rejected before photographing.
Does the integrated bracelet feel loose or secure at the lugs?
The bracelet end-links sit flush with the case lugs when properly fitted. There is no rattle or side-to-side play. The taper is smooth from the lugs to the end of the bracelet.
What is the surface finish on the integrated bracelet?
The bracelet is fully polished stainless steel. The light-catching facets are created by the bracelet's design geometry, not brushing. Over time, wear marks may show on the bracelet surface.
Is the date window magnified or flat crystal?
The date window has no cyclops magnification on this reference. It sits under the flat sapphire crystal, reading at normal magnification. The date wheel is white with black numerals.

What the Royal Oak is

How our clone follows it
We've built this reference at 41 mm in steel with a Swiss-grade automatic movement and sapphire crystal. The ceramic bezel, 50-metre water resistance, and integrated bracelet are all here. In QC we check the octagonal bezel symmetry first—any deviation shows immediately. Then the dial polish, the bracelet taper alignment, and case side finishing.

The 41 mm Royal Oak wears larger than its spec because of the wide bezel and integrated bracelet design. The weight is substantial but well-balanced.
