The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. How does the 42mm feel against larger references?
At 42mm, this Royal Oak sits between the smaller 36mm Jumbo and larger Offshore models. The proportions favour larger wrists, but the integrated bracelet can make it feel more compact than the spec suggests.
Is the bracelet easily resized?
The integrated design requires a specialist watchmaker and proper tools. We recommend against DIY sizing, as the geometry tolerances are tight.
What is the power reserve practically?
The approximately 48-hour reserve means that if you stop wearing it on a Friday evening, it will likely still run when you pick it up on Sunday morning.
Can you swap the bracelet for a leather strap?
The case lugs are designed for the integrated bracelet only. A strap would require professional modification and would alter the design significantly.
