What does embossed dial mean on an Aquanaut?
Embossed means the dial surface has raised or recessed patterns and text, creating depth and texture visible under light and magnification. This is different from a smooth printed dial. The embossing adds visual interest and catches light in a distinctive way.
How do I care for the embossed texture to keep it clean?
Dust can settle in the shallow recesses of embossed details. Use a soft brush or microfibre cloth to gently clean the dial surface. Avoid liquid cleaners on the dial itself; use only on the case and bracelet. Magnification will reveal any trapped dust.
Does the chocolate colour show wear marks easily?
Chocolate dials show fingerprints more visibly than light colours, but these polish off with a soft cloth. Under normal wear, oils don't accumulate noticeably. The dial itself resists scratching if you avoid direct contact with the surface.
How does the rubber strap weather over time?
