The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 26mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

What is malachite and why is it on this dial?
Malachite is a banded green stone used in fine watchmaking for dial inlays. This Datejust features its pattern as the dial itself, which is unusual and makes the watch distinctive without adding height or complexity to the case. The colour shifts subtly under light.
Will the dial colour change or fade over time?
Malachite is stable and resistant to fading. The banding and colour you see at QC approval will remain consistent for years. We inspect the dial finish closely in our photographs to show the current appearance.
How does a 26mm Datejust fit compared to modern watches?
A 26mm case is considerably smaller than contemporary sports watches (which are often 40–42mm), but it sits comfortably on most wrists as a formal piece. If you find it too compact, the 36mm references give more presence and still work for dress wear.
Can this watch handle swimming or water sports?
No. The 50-metre water resistance is for daily use: hand-washing, rain and splashes. It is not suitable for swimming, snorkelling or any immersion beyond brief contact. For water activities, consider a dive watch from the Submariner range.
