How long does the gold plating last?
Yellow gold plating on steel typically lasts 3–5 years with moderate daily wear, longer if worn occasionally. Contact areas like the clasp and bracelet links wear faster. We do not claim longevity beyond manufacture; plating naturally thins with wear. Re-plating is available from professional services at additional cost.
Is the gold colour consistent across the case and bezel?
Yes, both case and bezel are plated in the same yellow gold finish. Our QC checks for consistent colour tone. Minor variations in tone between pieces are normal in plated watches and do not indicate defect.
Are the bezel diamonds set or glued?
The stones are set into notches in the bezel ring, secured with epoxy resin. They are more secure than glued stones but less permanent than stone-set precious metal. The setting is appropriate for this price tier and styling.
Does yellow gold plating feel different than solid gold?
Plated watches feel identical to touch—the same weight, warmth, and finish. Only the material beneath the surface differs. For daily wear at this reference tier, plating is the expected standard, not a shortcut.
