The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

Does the cyclops really magnify the date by 2.5x like the original?
The cyclops lens on our clone magnifies the date window, though the magnification factor may vary slightly from the original Rolex specification. In practice, the date reads significantly larger and clearer than without the lens. QC photographs show you the exact lens performance.
Is 36mm too small for a man's wrist?
No. 36mm is a classic size that works well on most men; vintage Rolex sports watches were commonly 34–36mm. It depends on wrist size and personal preference, but 36mm is proven and popular. If you have a very large wrist, try the 41mm reference 126334WSJ instead.
What is the difference between 126234 and other Datejust references?
Reference 126234 is the current stainless steel Datejust at 36mm with a smooth bezel. Other references vary in size, material mix (two-tone, gold) or bezel type (fluted, diamonds). The 126234 is the baseline modern Datejust design.
Is the smooth bezel better than a fluted bezel?
Both are design options on Datejust models. The smooth bezel is cleaner aesthetically and easier to maintain. The fluted bezel is slightly more ornate. Reference 126234 uses a smooth bezel as per specification.

How our clone follows it
We build this with a 36mm stainless steel case, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and our Swiss-grade automatic movement running approximately 48 hours between winds. Water resistance is around 50 metres for daily use. In QC, we verify three critical points: the cyclops lens positioning directly over the date window, the dial indices alignment and spacing, and the smooth bezel finish without scratches or imperfections. The Oyster bracelet taper is checked for even links. You approve all photographs before we dispatch.
