The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.
Men’s sizing. At 36mm it wears true to the original’s proportions. Every piece is checked and photographed before dispatch; the watch you receive is the one in the QC images we send you.

Is the 36mm Datejust still considered modern, or is it dated?
The 36mm size is timeless, not trendy. Modern Datejust production includes 36mm options alongside larger sizes. The 116200 reference was retired years ago, but its design remains current and relevant.
Will the date window stay perfectly centred at such a small size?
Yes. The window is proportionally smaller but mechanically identical to larger Datejusts. Centring is maintained by the date wheel alignment. If drift ever occurs, service will correct it.
Does the bracelet on the 36mm feel too slender compared to modern sport watches?
The 36mm bracelet (13mm centre link) is proportionate to the case and was standard in dress watches for decades. Modern sport watches have wider bracelets (15mm+), so the 36mm feels more refined and less chunky by comparison.
Can I resize the bracelet myself, or does it require a professional?
The bracelet is removable if you have a proper link removal tool (also called a pin punch). We can size it before dispatch once you confirm your wrist size after the QC photos are sent.
