The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. What is the difference between this 45 mm and the 38 mm Big Bang?
The 38 mm (411.JX.4802.RT.1904) is a refined, smaller sports watch, while this 45 mm is a bold statement piece. Both preserve the octagonal design and rotating bezel. Size choice depends on wrist size and personal preference—the octagonal signature is equally strong at both scales.
How do you verify bezel rotation in the QC video?
In the video, we rotate the bezel smoothly in both directions, confirming it moves without catching, grinding, or sticking. The internal ratchet should produce audible or tactile clicks at regular intervals. Smooth operation indicates proper case assembly and bearing alignment—a quality marker.
What do the dial subdials represent on this model?
The subdials at 6, 9, and 12 o'clock are chronograph counters on the dial, but they are styling elements only on our clone. The chronograph mechanism itself does not function reliably. We verify the subdials are centred, flush, and properly aligned with their surrounding circles.
Is the case brushed or polished, and can I tell from the listing?
Stainless steel on the Big Bang is typically brushed on the case sides and lugs, with polished accents on the bezel and centre. This mixed finish creates visual contrast. In the QC photo, you should see both dull brushed surfaces and bright polished areas—compare them carefully.
