How does yellow-gold plating differ from solid gold?
Our clone uses plated yellow gold over a base metal. Solid gold is much more expensive. Plated finishes will show wear over time at contact points; this is cosmetic only and does not affect function.
Does the colour of the gold change or fade over time?
Plated yellow-gold can develop patina or show base metal in high-wear areas. The colour tone may shift slightly depending on skin chemistry and exposure. Our QC photographs show the initial finish you'll receive.
Is the 41mm size the standard for this model?
Yes, 41mm is the standard Selfwinding size. The larger Offshore variant is 44mm. The 41mm reads well on most wrists without being undersized.
