Will the dial finish match the original?
Our black dial is matte with a slightly textured surface to catch light subtly, as the reference does. The finish is applied in stages to avoid visible brush marks. The result is consistent across the dial when inspected under QC light.
How accurate is the case size and proportion?
The proportions give it the refined, understated character of a dress watch. Weight comes from the stainless steel, not bulk.
Can I wear this under a dress cuff?

What the Calatrava is
The Calatrava is the dress watch at the heart of the Patek Philippe collection. A round case, a clean dial, and applied indices—nothing decorative, nothing unnecessary. When we photograph this for QC, we study the dial finish for consistency, check that each applied index lies flat against the dial surface with no shadow, and verify the hands are centred. The date window must sit perfectly centred in its window.

Forty millimetres is modest by modern standards—the Calatrava sits close to the wrist under a cuff. The steel gives you a sense of substance without bulk.
