The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. Is a 26 mm Datejust suitable for a man's wrist?
Conventionally, no. The 26 mm is proportioned for women's wrists. However, if a man has a smaller wrist and prefers a refined, dress aesthetic, proportions matter more than tradition.
How are the Roman numerals printed on the dial?
Applied, not printed. The numerals are individual indices set into the dial, creating a three-dimensional effect. Alignment and finish are critical QC checks on this dial style.
Does the date window work the same on a smaller case?
Yes. The cyclops lens magnifies the date 2.5 times, centred at 12 o'clock. The smaller case does not affect the window's function, only its proportion to the overall dial.
