The movement is automatic, so the seconds hand sweeps rather than ticks and the watch winds itself as you wear it. The case is stainless steel, finished by hand — brushed surfaces stay brushed and polished edges keep a clean line. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 50 m water resistance for daily wear.

Will the skeleton dial get dusty or dirty inside?
The dial opening is sealed by the sapphire crystal. Dust does not enter. The internal movement is protected from the air. Over years, slight dust accumulation inside the case is possible, but normal use does not expose the movement to contamination.
Is the balance wheel always moving?
The balance wheel oscillates 28,800 times per hour when the watch is wound. If the watch stops (power reserve depleted), the balance wheel halts. Wind it by hand or wear it to restore motion.
Can I see through the dial opening with the watch off my wrist?
Yes. The skeleton opening shows gear activity and the balance wheel. Under bright light you can see the movement work. The movement is visible both from the front (dial side) and in some skeleton designs from the back.
Is the skeleton movement a different calibre?
The internal movement is the same Swiss-grade automatic as other models. The difference is cosmetic: the dial is cut away to expose parts. The mechanism and power reserve remain unchanged.

The skeleton dial is the centrepiece of our QC check: we look for even balance wheel oscillation visible through the opening, consistent gear alignment, and clean dial finishing.
