What we look for on a Royal Oak Tourbillon case and bezel

The Royal Oak Tourbillon is the pinnacle of Audemars Piguet's octagonal vision—the iconic grooved bezel, integrated bracelet, and an open dial revealing a mechanical tourbillon at 6 o'clock. In QC we examine the case finishing, bezel groove symmetry, bracelet taper and fit, dial printing precision, and most critically, the visibility and function of the tourbillon escapement.

How our clones follow it

Our three tourbillon replicas use 904L stainless steel and Swiss-grade automatic tourbillon movements. The case proportions match the 41mm reference, the integrated bracelet tapers correctly, and the dial features a clear aperture for the tourbillon. We photograph each unit to confirm the tourbillon is visible and rotating, the bezel is precise, and the overall finishing is even across the case and bracelet.

The 20180803AP004, 26522CE.OO.1225CE.01, and 26522TI.OO.1220TI.01 are all 41mm stainless with tourbillon movements; dial textures and complications vary subtly between them.
